Ireland’s Women in Finance Charter | 2024 Progress Update
In 2024, Utmost became proud signatories of Ireland’s Women in Finance Charter.
Led by industry and supported by the Government of Ireland, Ireland’s Women in Finance Charter underpins the financial services industry’s ambition to see increased participation of women at all levels, including junior, middle and senior management, leadership and board roles within financial services organisations based in Ireland.
As part of our commitment for 2024 we pledged to:
- Increase female representation at senior levels in Ireland.
- Set measurable gender diversity targets annually and report on our progress.
- Adopt inclusive policies that support the recruitment, retention and progression of women in finance.
We are proud to confirm that we have met our ambitious 2024 targets, where we have increased female representation at board level to 14% from 0% and increased Executive Management representation to 50% from 33%. We have successfully implemented initiatives such as mentorship programmes, leadership training and flexible working practices to support this goal that will continue into 2025.
As we celebrate our successes in 2024, we remain focused on continuing to set positive standards at Senior Management level for 2025. We are committed to continuous progress and transparency ensuring our journey toward a more inclusive and diverse organisation remains at the forefront of our strategy.
