New Business and Top-Ups
New business and top-ups: to be submitted by 17:00 (CET) Monday 1 December 2025.
The more complete the application pack (application form, identification document (“ID”), proof of residence, know your customer (“KYC”) documents, source of wealth corroboration supported by independent proof, tax compliance, portfolio statement, etc.), the faster the case will be executed.
Top Tips
Conducting an initial case review alongside your Partners & Client Services (“PCS”) counterpart is the most effective method to ensure the documentation is complete and ready to be processed. It would allow both parties to assess earlier in the process the status of the case and define what still needs to be obtained, by whom, and by when.
For numerous banks, the account opening procedure, which in some instances can take up to 4 weeks, may commence prior to the signing of the application pack or with minimal client information. The earlier your PCS Team is informed, the sooner the process can be started.
To ensure that all assets are compliant, the portfolio composition is to be provided as soon as possible in the application process, before Monday, 1 December 2025.
In regard to the premium payment:
Once the case is formally accepted by the company, your PCS Team will authorise the transfer of the premium. As many banks will already be closed for Christmas/New Year holidays from Friday, 19 December 2025, please ensure to submit instructions of premium payments for payments in cash before Friday, 12 December 2025 and in assets before Monday, 1 December 2025.
Withdrawals and Full Surrenders
Withdrawals and full surrender requests must be submitted by 17:00 (CET) Friday, 5 December 2025.
Originals are not mandatory for withdrawals except for Italian Branch cases. However, they are mandatory for surrenders, terminations and death-claims. For smoother processing, please ensure that all mandatory documentation is properly submitted.
Top Tips:
The parameters below can have an influence on the overall turnaround time of money-out transactions:
- Policy pledged
- Cash availability
- Compliance review and external enhanced due diligence (additional 2-3 weeks)
- Portfolio liquidation
- Internal transfer prior to payment
- Asset/NTA related illiquidity
- Fund valuation or disinvestment model
Digital signatures for partners and clients are allowed as long as the documents are signed in accordance with Utmost Luxembourg S.A. guidelines
Commission payments (Unit Linked and Portfolio Bond Policies)
Commission/fees will continue to be paid as normal in accordance with individual Adviser requirements. However, if the payment due date falls on a day when Utmost Luxembourg S.A. is closed, then the commission/fees will be paid on the next working day.
