Please see below a list of our processing cut-off dates during this period. We will aim to process any requests received after these dates prior to 31 December, however we cannot guarantee completion within this timeframe, in particular where the transaction is subject to third party action outside of our control.
New Business and Single Premium Top-ups
New business and top-up premiums completed by 17:00 (GMT) Thursday, 18 December will be included in the following weeks’ commission run.
The dates above are subject to the incoming requirements and premium, including clear source of funds and client due diligence, meeting our requirements.
Claim Requests – Partial and Full Surrender
Final cut-off times of receipt to the Guernsey office will be at 08:30 (GMT) Wednesday, 24 December and will recommence at 08:30 (GMT) Monday, 29 December.
Final cut-off times for receipt of requests will be 08:30 (GMT) Wednesday, 31 December and will recommence at 08:30 (GMT) Friday, 2 January 2026.
We reserve the right to delay payment where settlement of any required sale is not received or where dealing criteria such as market value adjusters, weekly or monthly dealing timings or notice periods apply.
Switch requests – Unit Linked
Final cut-off times of receipt to the Guernsey office will be at 08:30 (GMT) Wednesday, 24 December and will recommence at 08:30 (GMT) Monday, 29 December.
Final cut-off times for receipt of requests will be 08:30 (GMT) Wednesday, 31 December and will recommence at 08:30 (GMT) Friday, 2 January 2026.
Commission payments – Unit Linked and Portfolio Bond
Last commission run before Christmas will be Monday, 22 December.
The next commission run will take place on Monday, 5 January 2025.
Credit Card Collections – Unit Linked Policies
Credit card collections for all products will continue throughout Christmas and the New Year.
Giro Collections – FOCUS Singapore only
Giro collections for FOCUS Singapore will continue throughout Christmas and the New Year.
Dealing and Surrenders – Portfolio Bond

Although we will endeavour to execute trades after cut-off, it will not be guaranteed and therefore it is possible that they will not be executed until we re-open our offices on Monday, 29 December. We also need to ensure that market settlement can be supported during the holidays.
Between Christmas and the New Year when the Utmost Ireland offices are open, the Portfolio Bond Dealing Desk cut-off times will be as follows:
